Bernie is a good looking boy with a chocolate coat and amber eyes, he is sure to get compliments any where he goes. Bernie is house trained and crate trained, he is still a puppy and should be crated at night and when alone. Bernie is an energetic dog and breed mix so he requires a good, long, brisk walk each day to be able to come home and chill out. He likes to play and would love off leash time at a fenced park to chase a toy or just run around and play with his family. Bernie gets along very well with other dogs and would love to make regular visits to the doggy parks to exercise and socialize. We have not had him around cats so a leashed introduction is suggested, he is fine with respectful children. Bernie would benefit from obedience classes with his new family as he does not seem to have much training. He is happy and eager to please so with patience he should make a very easy to train and obedient pet. Collies like to keep the body and mind busy so why not take up fly ball or agility with Bernie! He also doesnt seem to mind water. Bernie is the perfect companion of a patient, active family that can spend some time training each day and likes to be outdoorsy with their pet. Bernie needs a house with a fenced yard
