My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a sweet girl Willa is!! She's very submissive and loving and has a SUPER personality!!. She walks nicely on a leash and is housebroken. She's got enough energy to keep up with an active family, couple or single person and will calm down nicely when in the house.
Willa came to us from a rural shelter in Virginia that gets little adoption traffic. She was a favorite of the shelter personnel, so they put out a plea to rescue groups to please save her from being put to sleep. We are SOOO happy that we had a space available when Willa needed one because she is one of the best dogs we've ever had here :) She gets along great with the other dogs and runs and plays happily with them. She is especially fond of our large male american bulldog, Brewster. We definitely see the husky in Willa - she is a striking girl! - but don't really know what other mixes might be in there. Her coat is very soft, but not as long as a shepherd's or husky's. Her tail is long and straight and wags a mile a minute. She's really cute!
Willa is spayed and has had a rabies shot, booster and deworming. She tested negative for heartworms and we have begun her monthly preventative.
