Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Jersey & I’m a beautiful beagle - if I may say so myself! Foster Mom tells me that all the time. I’m a happy, sweet girl, but I’m a little shy. We’re working on building my confidence.
I’m already potty trained. I only had one accident in the house & that was because I was scared. I go in a crate during the day when Foster Mom goes to work. It’s OK because all the dogs here have to go in one. I don’t whine or tear it up. I get to sleep in the big bed at night because I’m such a good girl.
I’ve never met any little humans, but I think they would probably make me nervous because sometimes fast movements & loud noises frighten me.
I have a fence at my foster home, but I would do fine on a tie out, because I like to sit & watch the world go by. Even in the house, I like to look out the window. Some times I bark at squirrels or geese, but over all I’m very quiet.
I’m also good in the car. I sit quietly in my crate. I don’t walk very well on a leash because I don’t know what’s out there. That would likely get better as my anxiety lessens.
I like to play with the other dogs here, but I would probably be OK as an only dog. I like to be alone with Foster Mom. Sometimes I come inside with her while everyone else stays outside. I get the zoomies every once in a while, but I’m usually very mellow.
Since I’m almost the perfect beagle, I won’t be available very long, so you better contact BREW right away.
