The Crew of the SS Minnow's Story...
The kitten crew of the SS Minnow are currently in foster care. They are enjoying a loving home until they are ready for adoption. They are: MaryAnn, she is a dark stripe tabby, white paws and face. Very energetic and full of fun. The other tabby is Ginger and her feet have no white on them. She too is playful and energetic.
Gilligan is becoming more playful but is quite calm. The most quiet and calm, and most cuddlely one is Skipper. Skipper doesn't act like a kitten, he loves laying in your lap for hours. Not until recently he is starting to play. Gilligan has the black spot on his nose and his spots are darker and bigger.

This group would make wonderful pets as they are so affectionate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

The Crew of the SS Minnow, a Lake Charles Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lake Charles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lake Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
