My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nova is a real sweetie of a dog. She has more of the tom-boy personality and is still puppyish and playful with her people. She also loves cuddling and is a very affectionate and loving companion. Nova looks like a miniature black lab and we are not sure what she is mixed with but she weighs only 30 lbs. She is appropriately 10 months to one year old so has reached her adult size.

Nova is a very good girl in her crate and can be left alone for a normal working day without incident. She goes in on her own and once crated, barely makes a peep. She is fully houstrained and is coming along nicely with her obedience and leash training. Nova loves the company of other dogs and gets excited at the prospect of a new friend. She can be shy meeting new people, but is able to warm up quickly and make friends once she feels secure. Nova is hesitant around young children, so we would recommend an adult only home or a home with older children. She would be great as an only dog or as a second or third.
Here is what Nova' foster mom had to say about her:

"Nova is a real sweetheart. She has a sweet personality and is a very loving girl. She loves to wrestle with the boy dogs and try out new things. She is always up for a good adventure and loves going on walks to explore new areas. Nova really is a gentle soul. She has started to come out of her shell more and more and her true personality is starting to shine through. She loves the company of people and lets you know it too! Nova never stays too far away and is always happy to come and greet you with a quick lick on your hand. Nova would do great in obedience training as she is a very smart girl and always looking to please her people. Nova does take longer then most to form a bond, but when she does it is a very strong bond and she shows a sense of respect for her person. I think that she will bloom to her fullest in a home where they are willing to play with her and help her build her confidence."
