Meet Charile Pup! He is one Wren's 8 puppies born on April 14. Mom is a pure bred, AKC registered golden retriever and we believe Dad may have been a black lab. They will be available for adoption after June 9th. They require a stay at home/ work at home parent and would love to see them in a home with another dog. If Charlie and the rest of the gang is anything like Mom, you have one sweet boy on your hands!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie Pup, a Knoxville Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
