Tammy's Story...
Baby Tammy is an interesting looking shepherd mix puppy that is available for adoption. She has a unique look, and a very sweet personality. Tammy is about 5 months old and will probably grow to be between 40-50 lbs. She arrived at our shelter and quickly became ill with pneumonia. One of our dedicated foster families nursed her back to health, and she returned to the shelter to be spayed. After her surgery, she decided that she didn't want to eat at the shelter, so we quickly placed her in another foster home where she has gained weight. She adjusted quickly to both foster homes, so we're pretty sure she'll adjust quickly to her adoptive home too. She is great with kids of all ages and loves to play. She is currently living with 4 other dogs of all ages (puppy to senior) and is wonderful with them. Tammy will make a great family pet. Please submit an adoption application and we will set up a meet and greet with her foster family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tammy, a Vineland Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Vineland, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Vineland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vineland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vineland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vineland paves the way for another one to be saved.
