I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
We have updated Gunner's name to show that he is a three-toed cat. He and Three Toed Joe are the only three-toed cats we have ever seen. We think the three toes is an inherited trait and that Gunner and Joe must be related. They were both rescued from the Owasso area, over a year apart. Gunner appears to be the older of the two at about 2 1/2 years. Gunner is currently being fostered at a private home in Green Country.

UPDATE: 12/2/10 Gunner is much healthier now and is only days away from being adoptable. New pictures have been posted to show his extreme improvement after only 6 weeks of being cared for.
Gunner is the very definition of a rescued animal. He was found nearly starved to death on a local gun range. He was so flat that he should have been dead. He was extremely starved and had ear mites, fleas, an eye infection and even ticks when we got him. He has only 3 toes on each front paw and purrs when you pay any attention to him at all. He is a very sweet boy and he deserves an extra special home. Since he was so very underweight it will be a while before he is up to regular body weight. If you are interested in adopting him please call and we will schedule a meet and greet. The adoption donation is 125.00.
For all not yet altered kittens the new pet parents must live in Tulsa County or the cities that surround the Tulsa County area. We do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. We would prefer that potential adopters reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Kansas. We may make exceptions for other states if you have family in or near Owasso, OK.

Owasso Feline Rescue was founded by Annette Baisden in 1999. We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization that rescues felines off the streets, out of shelters, and from individuals. So far, we have done over 9,000 spays and neuters in the Owasso area and about 7,500 adoptions. We strive to teach the importance of spaying and neutering of your pet, not only for you but mostly for them. Adoption is the best thing you could ever do. Not only are you gaining a friend, you are saving a life as well.

Our felines are currently fostered at the Owasso Petsmart located in the Smith Farm Shopping Center. The cats that are fostered at Petsmart live on site until they are adopted, so feel free to drop in anytime during normal stores and say hello to them. Many of our cats are fostered in private homes and we bring them to a venue when an appointment is scheduled.
Our fees are $85.00 & up for adult cats and kittens. All kittens that haven't been altered will only be adopted to families that live in Tulsa County and the surrounding cities.
The cats are spayed/neutered upon adoption, if they are old enough. If not, the spay/neuter is included in the adoption donation. All cats receive RDCP vaccines, rabies vaccines, worm medicine, and flea treatment. Our cats are tested for FELV.
