My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Please note: we do not have a physical location, we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.**

Buddy is an almost 4 year old neutered male cocker spaniel, who is crate trained and house trained (although if you are not paying attention when he asks, you might find a puddle). He loves to go on walks and ride in the car. He can be a lover but at times needs his space and he has no problem telling you. Buddy has been through obedience class (basic, intermediate, and advanced) and knows commands like sit, wait, leave it, back, down, off, and over. He needs some help with stay as he just gets too excited and cannot contain himself! He does well with other dogs, after he warms up to them. He goes to doggie daycare every other week and needs to wear a gentle leader while he's there. There have never been any issues with the current daycare using this method. He does go to the groomers every 8 weeks or so, though he does get grumpy about having his feet taken care of. He lives with another female cocker spaniel. He loves to chase cats in a playful way.

As small children make Buddy nervous, he should go to a home with older children.
