Mars's Story...
Hi folks, My name is Mars. I am a little boy born on March 8, 2011. My foster mama says I'm a Lab/Hound mix. I was born in a place where nobody wanted to take care of me so this nice man came and got all us kids and brought us here to this farm where my foster mama takes real good care of us. I would love to come to your house and play with you and your kids if you have any, or just play with you! Won't you please give me a forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mars, a Salem Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
