Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there – my name is Dandy. I am named that because I have this little prance that makes me look like a “dandy fellow”.
I was found running down the road with my very best friend Beauregard. I was so scared it took the lady who found us almost two hours to get me to come to her -- and boy am I glad I did!
I am a Chihuahua but marked like a Manchester terrier. Although I am a bit shy and scared at first (hey – it’s hard being less than 6 inches tall), once I know you will not hurt me I am happy and friendly little guy. I love to be petted and hang out with my human friends. I also LOVE to go for walks, but keep me in a harness so I don’t scamper away by accident. I don’t want to get lost again!
I love to play with my very best friend Beauregard (could you adopt us together?) I have been doing well with my foster mom’s other three dogs, although I was very frightened at first.
I have learned lots of stuff with my foster mom – I know how to use a doggie door, I know how to walk on a leash better now, and I am house broken (just give me a day or two to get used to your schedule). I am also able to stay in a kennel, but prefer not to.
I would be very happy to meet you, so please complete an adoption interest form and email it to crystallarnold@msn.com to arrange a time for us to meet.
