Kylan's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Kylan's Story...
Kylan is an adorable 4 month old Border Collie / Lab cross puppy who was found in a rural area, tied to a fence with a short rope that was wound so tightly around her neck she could barely breathe. She is a very sweet little girl who is used to living with kids, other dogs and even cats! She is a typical, frisky, goofy, pup in every way and she is working on learning housetraining, leash manners and basic commands. Kylan has been vet checked, treated for parasites, has had 2 sets of vaccinations and has been spayed, so she is ready for her new forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kylan, a Okotoks Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
