My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OMG! Is this precious or what?!?!! Vera is just darling, and it's virtually impossible to resist those imploring eyes!! She is a 3-1/2 month old, female, pit bull puppy. Vera is black with a white chest & paws and has beautiful brown eyes that just make you melt! We received a call in March from Chicago Animal Control to see if we would take in 2 puppies. They had mange covering 95% of their bodies and were going to be euthanized unless we rescued them. Well, we could not say "no" to these pathetic, hairless, wrinkled babies. After receiving immediate medical attention and wonderful care in a fabulous foster home, Fabian and Vera are healthy, happy, playful pups! The majority of their hair has grown back in with a few patchy parts that will soon be gone.

Vera is a darling pup! She's a playful girl, but really loves attention from her foster mom. She's great with other dogs and people and is so cute to watch when she pounces on a toy. Vera is a little smarty and already knows "sit". She would also love to find her Forever Family, so please come meet her!
