Ciara's Story...
Check this out! I just got a hair cut!! Boy do I feel better!

Hi there! My name is Ciara. I am a 9 yr old Lhasa Apso. I am a very good girl. If you are looking for a readymade dog to join your family, Im your girl. I love to play with toys and am very smart. I love to go on walks and I especially love to cuddle with my people. My vet told me I am a little on the chunky side, so my foster mom has me on a bit of a diet. Personally I dont think I am chunky, I like to call it fluffy. I am a very quiet pup, but I will bark to let you know that someone is at your door. I like to play with other dogs and I get along pretty good with my foster moms cat. I think I would be a perfect addition to your family, so if you have a place in your home and heart for me, please come and see me! Ill be waiting

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ciara, a Saskatoon Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
