Sadie's Story...
I am Sadie. I am a pure bred Cocker Spaniel who was used nearly to death by breeders. I am a very sweet girl who simply wants a cool shady place to lay down in and I will be your best friend forever! I am not sure about my age, but I have probably seen at least 3 birthdays. My coat has been clipped but I have not been properly groomed, so my new foster mom is going to take me to see a lady who has a dog salon! I am looking forward to that. I will pose for some pictures really soon so you can see how cute i am. I need to be pampered a little! I am going to be spayed very soon so no one can use me like that again, and I will be vaccinated checked out so that I will have a clean bill of health. If you would like to meet me, call the ladies at Rainbow Wildlife Rescue and Pet Foster program. They are in the process of loving me back to health!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Stephenville Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Stephenville, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Stephenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stephenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stephenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stephenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
