My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Earlier this year I went to a shelter with a friend to see if they had found her cat. Just out of curiosity I checked out the dogs...saw this beautiful girl and asked if I could see her. They took her out of her cold dark cage and I noticed she could barely walk. I saw the love in her eyes and my heart went out to her. I couldn't leave her there knowing that she could very well be euthanized.

Kodah is now ready to go on to her permanent home. She needs a yard to play in, and perhaps someone that would like to go for nice long walks with her. She has an amazing temperament, and is a great lovable dog that deserves the best of everything. She is laid back, playful and although sometimes stubborn, she is always happy and affectionate. She is good with children of all ages, and gets along with other dogs but doesn't like to share her food bowl or toys. We do not know how she would do with cats. She is a clean and quiet girl in the house and would probably be best suited to a home with older children.

Kodah is approximately 4 – 5 years old and weighs approximately 65 – 70 lbs.
