Snickers's Story...
Aren't they adorable? Snickers and her siblings were just a few of many kittens who came to Paw Placement toward the end of summer. We are so thankful to our volunteers and supporters, who enable us to save more lives each year. Without their generosity, kittens like Snickers would be left alone to fend for themselves on the streets, up against terrible odds. But we've promised Snickers a better future than that - this means a true forever-home, complete with a kind, committed family or person. Her new family should know that Snickers is still using up all of her kitten playfulness - but in the right setting, she'll grow up to be a calm, loving companion. Please consider giving Snickers a home for Thanksgiving - she would love to spend the holidays with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snickers, a Scottsdale Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
