Buddy's Story...
"Hi...I'm Buddy, and I will indeed become your best buddy if I get to go home with you. My coat is very shiny and black and I love to go for walks. And you should see my ears. They're very cute! And I wag my tail allll the time..I"m just so sweet and friendly! I'm small and most definitely would not take up too much room in your home. I would be really easy to take care of too because my hair is short. Help make my dreams come true for a new forever home with you. We could have lots of fun together".
This little fellow came to our Shelter through no fault of his own. His family moved off and didn't take him along. We think he's housebroken, he's good with older kids and he gets along with other dogs. So come on in and ask to visit with him in our Doggie Play Yard. Kennel #58.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a El Cajon Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
