Midge's Story...
"Hi everyone…I’m Midge. I am a very, very sweet girl who is looking for a new forever home. Being on the small side, I would not take up much room in your home, and I have short hair too, so I would be easy to take care of. I just love to go for walks and walk nicely on the leash, and would be happy to sit by your side and just spend time with you. My Dog Walkers say I'm a very FUN gal! If you are looking for a very sweet and gentle girl, I’m the one for you! I would love to meet you."

Come on in and ask to visit with Midge in our Doggie Play Yard. She's in Kennel #5.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Midge, a El Cajon Corgi/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/German Shepherd Dog for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Corgi/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Corgi/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
