My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Waggit is another stray who was picked up by a Good Samaritan who brought him to safety. No one seemed to be looking for him. He is approximately one year old and a little nervous and intimidated because of all the changes in his life. Sometimes when life throws a dog curve ball, it takes a little time for them to regain their confidence. Despite, the sad eyes, he lives up to his name – his tail is always wagging! It’s the start of a brand new day for Waggit and wouldn’t it be nice if someone swept him up and called him their own. Waggit needs a Dachshund lover who will help to restore his faith in humans. There may be some toilet training to do; patience and consistency will go a long way into helping Waggit know what is expected of him. Since we have no history and he is somewhat anxious– at least for the time being – an adult home or one where children are older would best suit him. In the meantime, Waggit waits for the family who will responsibly care for and love him for life. Could that be you? Please fill in the Adoption Form if you are interested in adopting Waggit.
