Sahara's Story...
Meet Sahara! She is a gorgeous 2 year old, well mannered girl. She was found stray but traced back to her owner by her microchip. Her owner agreed that because of his poor health that it would be best to find Sahara a new forever home. She is good with kids, has met several dogs and was fine with them, and has also met a cat that she didnt seem to be very interested in. She is very interested in meeting humans and greets everyone with a wagging tail. Sahara would enjoy an active family that spends time doing outdoor recreation. She will climb a chain link fence so she will need a family who will take her out on leash or has a 6 ft. security type fence. If this beautiful girl has stolen your heart, please request an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sahara, a Knoxville Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
