My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smoochie was rescued 5 years ago by a vet office and received a full work up there. When he was adopted, the new family took him to their vet who extracted all but one tooth, and then put him on a special diet for sensitive stomachs. Smoochie then spent the next five years of his life living in a cage! Finally, the family could no longer keep him, so they brought him to Rescue. Smoochie is now enjoying his freedom. He likes to move from cat tree to cat tree, and get out and stretch his legs when it's time for dinner treats. He gives kisses and hugs. He has the BEST time. He loves to race up and down the cat trees when he's in the mood. Otherwise, he's got his favorite cubby to hang out in. He wants his food and water dishes placed in HIS special spot, and he gets all revved up for wet food at any time of the day. Quite the charmer. He was professionally groomed just before he came to Rescue, and he looks like a little shorn lamb! We expect Smoochie to live a good long life and hope he gets to spend his Golden Years in a loving home full of attention and freedom. He is eating anything and everything and shows no signs of stomach trouble, so we think his new environment agrees with him.
