Angel mom's Story...
Angel Mom
1-2 yo Female Blue Lynx Point Snowshoe/Tonkinese Mix

Angel Mom is just that .. an angel. She has light blue eyes, and pretty white mittens on her feet. As you can see, she has very pretty tabby markings in her coat and those lynx points on her face. What a pretty cat! What's even better is her personality. Angel Mom was dropped in a shelter with Angel Eyes, her daughter. Once she was in Rescue, she adopted Van, and raised him as her own. Then along came 5 tiny babies who had lost their mother. This sweet girl nursed them all, sharing the duties with another mother
because neither had enough milk. She has been a Godsend. Angel Mom is still very much a kitten herself. She is playful, and loves all of the youngsters, but gets along with the adults too. She will play with anyone who wants to play, even the dogs! Angel Mom loves people. She would probably even be tolerant of fairly young,
gentle human children. Ideally, we'd like to see her adopted into a home with Angel Eyes, her daughter. They are still very close and it would be a huge reward for this girl that has given so much to others.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel mom, a Davis Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in Davis, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
