Scarlet's Story...
Scarlett is equal parts beautiful exotic model, fierce warrior princess and as sweet/loving as the most decadent chocolate you've ever had. She's just about 2 months old. Scarlett is by far the most well rounded kitten foster mom has ever had. She loves other cats, has been exposed to dogs (through a baby gate) and just loves loves loves people. This kitten isn't shy in any way, she loves to be the center of attention and will seek you out when she's ready to fall asleep. Scarlett will climb into your lap, talk to you for awhile, make biscuits in your lap and fall asleep - she'll stay there sleeping for as long as you let her. At night she wants to be right next to you or on your pillow for the entire night. Scarlett does have a twin (Rhett or Red) that she would love to be adopted with. They are two peas in a pod and are perfect together - the only problem would be telling them apart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlet, a Chandler Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chandler, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chandler.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chandler already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chandler breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chandler paves the way for another one to be saved.
