Holmes's Story...
Holmes is a very sweet poodle/schnauzer/shihtzu mix at around 2-3 years of age. He is nonshedding so he will require regular grooming. He lost his eye due to trauma before he came to us so we don't know what happened but its all healed now. He's a little bit timid with new people at first and gets very scared if you grab at him quickly so no small children please. He doesn't mind other dogs as long as they are nice to him and he thinks cats are for playing with so it really depends on the cat as to if he can get along. He loooooooooooves toys and chewy bones. He's housebroken and crate trained but he'd prefer to not sleep in a crate. Please email if you think you might be his forever home! He's had a rough start so he really needs someone who can give him time and patience to really come out of his shell.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holmes, a Chandler Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Chandler, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Chandler.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chandler already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chandler breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chandler paves the way for another one to be saved.
