Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy
Young Female Maine Coon
First I need to tell you that I do not like cameras at all or my picture taken!
My name is Lucy but I like being called Lucy Lu! I have a beautifully stripped coat that is very soft and thick. This photo does not do me justice.
I’m very shy at first but I’m also a very good kitty. I have manners in using the kitty box all of the time, even if you forget to clean it out in the morning or night. I like to talk to you a lot once I get to know you. Please be patient with me. I’m a gentle soul looking for a “Forever Home”. I don’t hiss, growl, scratch or bite when I am so very scared or unsure of my new surroundings. I won’t tear up your furniture. I’m trying to forget my past now that I’ve been with this really nice, loving organization and my Foster Mom.
I love cat toys, especially old socks filled with catnip that I can toss up in the air and fall over on and attack it. I even know how to use a cat scratching post. I really enjoy toys/feathers on a string that you and I can play together with. I love being tickled, scratched, rubbed, combed, ears massaged and love-tugs on my tail. I will tease you with my tail for an extra love-tug and back rub. I love being loved and will follow you around. I’ll even supervise while you cook dinner. I’m not much on test tasting so you don’t have to offer. Call me and I will come running, talking to you with every leap.
I get along with cat-smart doggies and other cats. I love playing with kittens too. My Foster Mom has 3 talking parrots and I could care less about them even though they call me by my name.
Although a bit shy at first, she will warm up to the right person. She is really a beautiful cat--inside and out! Come and meet her in person!
