Sophie has had a rough time of it ...she landed in a high kill shelter after her elderly owner died. She was quickly adopted by a family with young children. But their noise and high activity level sent her hiding under the nearest piece of furniture and they decided to return her. All the while, Sophie, estimated to be 4 yrs old, just wanted a calm home where she could feel safe and secure and a lap to sit on. Maybe yours? Persian cats are as pretty as they are labor-intensive. These cats require daily grooming, including combing of the entire body and gentle wiping of the eyes.
