My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dallas von Chapin is a soulfully sweet, typical 4-month-old German Shepherd puppy. Dallas is super smart and already enjoys having a job to do. He already sits for a treat and comes running from wherever he is to find his reward when he is called. Dallas is in a foster home with other dogs who give him a run for his money, so he will need a home with another active dog he can play with. He also looks to his person for direction and really enjoys positive reinforcement. One of his favorite things is playing tug and running like a mad man throughout the yard with the other dogs. Of course he loves toys, but is always interested in the toys the other dogs are playing with, not his own. When he is in play mode, he likes to growl like a bear at the other dogs which is really funny to observe. He can be very mouthy when he's ready to play and likes to jump when he's excited, so small children are probably not a good idea.

Dallas has a good appetite, but he is not a fast eater. He loves to enjoy his meals lying down and takes his time. When Dallas first met a cat, it happened to be an evil cat who isn't particularly fond of dogs. Dallas barked at her and she smacked him in the face and he ran away crying and has pretty much steered clear of the other cats since then, even the ones who want to rub up against him. He's just a bit confused about which ones are nice and which ones are bullies, but either way he has had enough of the feline variety. When he is finally tired out, Dallas enjoys cuddling up against you by your side or sometimes under your feet. Dallas is definitely going to be an active boy and needs someone who will stimulate his mind and body with daily training and exercise. This boy is full of love and is ready to share it with his new family.
