Tyra's Story...
Tyra is a tiger and white female kitten who is currently 9 weeks. Her and 9 other kittens were left in a box on a lady's porch! They were all so tiny and hungry! Now they are getting bigger and always have full tummies! She is very people friendly since she has learned that people are where the food comes from! This little girl is SO full of energy that we don't think she ever stops playing! So adorable too with her tiger stripes mixed with white!

Adoption donation is $65.00. She is current on shots, wormed twice and Leukemia tested negative. Ask about our low cost spay program for an addtional $45.00.

Contact Mary at 724-423-5571 or email her at mary@animalkeepersrescue.org to schedule an appointment to meet this cutie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyra, a Acme Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Acme, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Acme.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acme already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acme breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acme paves the way for another one to be saved.
