Dixie-Do's Story...
Dixie-Do got her name because she loves to "sing" to you. She is smart and very palyful. She could be a hound or corgi mix with the the American Staffordshire Terrier listening to her howl. She is believed to be around 11 weeks old, spayed, microchipped, and has had 2 puppy shots. She will need a rabies shot and one more puppy shot. Mom is a Janie the American Staffordshire Terrier mix and has the short legs, who knows about Dad! Do you have the right home for this sweetie? If so, go to www.hubbardshounds.com and submit an application. NO PHONE CALLS!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie-Do, a Homer American Staffordshire Terrier/Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Corgi for sale in Homer, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Corgi puppy from a breeder in Homer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Corgi breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homer paves the way for another one to be saved.
