Haley's Story...
Hello there. How do you do? I am Haley, a lovely 3-4 year-old Shepherd mix. Look into my soulful chocolate brown eyes. Can't you tell that I'm a sweet, shy lass? I am truly a good girl who just wants to be safe and loved forever. Although I'm coy I become more affectionate and cuddly once I get more familiar with you. I'm so very gentle but since I am timid I'd like to live with older children please. I can sit and lay down and really am so eager to please. Please come and meet my pretty self in person. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to receive one of my delicious kisses!

Act quickly to adopt Haley. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haley, a Huntington Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
