My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vinnie is one of a litter of puppies born to a young female Norwegian Elkhound on 02/26/2011. You can read the story here: Queenie and Her Puppies. The puppies are now ready for their new homes. Please mention the name of the puppy when you apply. A fenced yard is a requirement to adopt this puppy.


Note: We are an all volunteer organization and will not respond to brief e-mail requests for more information about a dog. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required. Also, a fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.


All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested, on heartworm preventative year-round, and microchipped for identification.


This dog is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates program. We are listing this dog as a courtesy for the John Nelsen Moosedog Rescue Fund and the adoption will be handled through them. To learn more about dogs like this, please click here to go their website.
