My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eli and Mason are brothers who will bring a lot of affection, fun, and purring to the home lucky enough to adopt them. Eli is very outgoing and curious, while his brother Mason is a little more cautious but just as lovable and loving.

Mason is a cheerful guy with a wonderful purr that he loves to show off when you pet him. With his gorgeous black and white coat, including a rather spiffy white tip on his black tail, this boy knows just how handsome he is. He greets you by sniffing your face and touching his nose to yours. Mason also likes to make conversation, and if you promise to listen to how his day is going, he'll do the same for you. Like his brother, he is playful and ready to entertain; he especially enjoys batting twist ties (one of his favorite toys) around the house.

Eli is an outgoing sweetheart who enjoys cuddles and love-time with his people. He is happy to let you know whenever he needs some good head scratches with a polite head-butt. He has an orange and white coat, and the laid-back personality that goes along with being an orange kitty. He is a playful guy who loves to have fun with a great purr once his trust is earned. He's very generous with his grooming skills and does an excellent job of keeping Mason's ears clean.

Both Mason and Eli love high spots like the top of their cat tree during their day, but like to cuddle up in a low spot (i.e., the bed) at night with their people. They get along well with other cats and are currently learning about dogs for the first time.

Eli and Mason, like all ARCF cats for adoption, have been neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting Eli and Mason, please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
