AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.
Vinny is a casuality of the recent severe storms in North GA. He was in the shelter in Ringgold, GA and because of the influx of displaced dogs. After the town was destroyed by tornadoes, shelter space was at a premium and dogs who had been in the shelter for a long period were at risk for euthanasia. We couldn't let that happen to Vinny!!
Vinny is a sweet boy, depressed after his ordeal the last 6 weeks. He is a bit distracted now, because he's been in doggy jail for such a long time and wants to explore the world.
When he arrived at our vets, he was terribly skinny and COVERED in ticks. He is still at our vets undergoing treatment for the tic infestation that made him anemic. He will not be able to undergo any other procedures until his blood counts inprove.
He is neutered. He will undergo routine vaccines and any other treatment needed prior to adoption.
