Marshall's Story...
This little pooches litter was found abandoned when they were just about 5 weeks old. We did not see either parent. Some of them look like chocolate labs, others like golden retriever mixes, and another that looks like a lab/hound. They're true Heinz 57's. They are 14 weeks old on 5/1 and they're ready for their new homes now. Because they're so young they will not be spayed or neutered before going to their new families. Their parents will get a 50$ rebate when they have it done at 6 months of age. (BB)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marshall, a Allentown Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
