My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rufus is looking for someone to love and spends his days with! He wants nothing more than to go for a walk along the beach with his soul mate and then have a quiet afternoon napping at your feet. He can be shy at first, but once he gets to know you, Rufus is your best friend!

Rufus needs a home that understands the quiet and reserved nature of a male rottweiler that wasn't treated nicely for the first half of his life. While Rufus is a mature adult, he has only recently learned how to play with toys and is now eagerly enjoying his second childhood!

Large groups of dogs make Rufus uncomfortable, so he would prefer a home with one other easy going female dog or to be your only love. He gets far too excited about cats and small dogs, so would do best without them and is not really a dog-park kind of dog. He prefers long walks on the beach, hikes in the woods or a stroll around the neighbourhood.

If quiet walks on the beach and snuggling by the fire are your thing, maybe Rufus is for you!
