My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Jewel and my shelter mom tells me I am a little gem. I am a very busy little girl, I want to see everything and do everything. I love playing and climbing and running around chasing toys. And when I am tired from my busy day I like to curl up in my hammock for a nap.
I also love all the attention I can get, hugs and cuddles are a must for me, I love that.
Please come visit me, I know I will make you smile and want to take me home.

You can call the shelter for an appointment to meet me, or come to PetSmart in Conyers or Bethlehem for a meet and greet.

None of us are exactly at our very best at PetSmart, but that's just because we're used to having lots of love and fun at our shelter home and going to PetSmart with all the loud noises and bright lights is a little scary. Still, you can see how beautiful I am and that I'd be really great as your new forever best friend.

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
