Lucy's Story...
Lucy is a beautiful, declawed, Siamese, Blue Point Torti mix born 6/5/07. She is a quiet cat and very shy at first. Because she is shy, she would do best in a home either alone or with one other cat. Lucy has beautiful, intensely blue eyes. Her coloring is striking. Lucy would do best in a home as either the only pet, or only one other calm and sweet-natured pet. She really likes her "foster sister," a light tan-colored toy poodle who is very mellow. Lucy has been vet checked, spayed, declawed, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLuk. Lucy would love to find her forever home. Call 507-451-4512 to meet her in her foster home. Lucy’s adoption fee is $125. (DS)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Owatonna Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
