Go Go Girl's Story...

This is what my volunteer friend had to say about me:

Hey-hey, I’m Go-Go Girl! If you see a big, beautiful plume of a black tail in the back yard, that would be me. I’ve got a gorgeous long black coat with accents of white on my face, tummy and feet - I like to think of them as my go-go boots, ’cause I’m always on the move. Anyway, I keep my coat soft and tangle-free with the dirt baths I enjoy daily in the backyard. If you want to break the ice and get to know me, just bring a brush or comb, and I’ll be in heaven. I may even roll over on my back and show you my curly white tummy. I came to the shelter years ago with my brother Diamond and sister Miranda from a feral cat colony, so I’m still getting used to people. Miranda recently went to her forever home, and now I’m looking for mine. I figure this 10 year old girl needs to be settling down. And if you have a handsome boy (cat) at home, I’ll even be happier. You see, my recent boyfriend was adopted and I’m kind of lonesome and would love to find a new best friend! I’m part of the Trial Adoption Program—please ask the RMFR staff for more details!

This is what my volunteer friend had to say about me:

My name is Go Go Girl! I am a 9 year old spayed female. I came to RMFR when I was just 4 months old and have been here ever since. I’m a bit shy, but if you approach slowly and quietly, or sneak up on me and pet my rump, we’ll be friends. I absolutely love to be petted and brushed! I give “elevator rump” a new look. I’ve been known to flip myself off the cat furniture when I’m being brushed and petted! I’ll even let you brush my tummy when I’m relaxed! I would love to go home with you and would really like it if you had a nice boy kitty for me (no bullies please!) If not, maybe you would consider bringing home one of my friends from RMFR to make me feel more comfortable. Right now, I don't really like to be picked up, but I'll sit close to you. This might change over time as I adjust to a home. I have beautiful medium length fur, and my tummy has curly hair. I do like older children, especially when they are wielding a brush! I also like to play. I am a wonderful kitty! My adoption is part of the trial adoption program. Please speak to the shelter staff for details on this program!
