Snapdragon's Story...

This is what my volunteer friend has to say about me:

My name is Snapdragon! I am a 10 year old spayed female. I came to RMFR in 2005 when I was just about 2 years old. I was feral (wild) then and am still very shy. I get along well with other cats and would make a great companion to another nice kitty. When I get to know you I will exchange slow “love” blinks with my human friends and will even come out of hiding and sit near you as you spend more time with me. Did I mention how much I love tuna and other treats liked canned chicken? My TLC (tender loving care) volunteer and I were making great progress, including nose touches and some gentle pets on the head. If I were in a quiet home with another nice cat (no bullies please!) and some understanding adults, I could learn to trust you. I might even relax enough to play! I am a well-behaved, BEAUTIFUL, kitty who would like to try life in a home. With time and patience (and TREATS), I might become more outgoing and affectionate! This is why my adoption is part of the trial adoption program. Please speak to the shelter staff for details on this program!

This is what my volunteer friend has to say about me:

Don’t I have the sweetest face you’ve ever seen? Well, I have the personality to go along with it!!!
I am feral and run when humans approach me, unless of course they set a chunk of tuna close to me. Then when I’m sure they are not going to touch me – I’ll eat it. I hang out in the Big Room and venture outside on warm days. I’d like to live in a home with grown-ups that are very patient and gentle and who knows, I could even become less feral the more I get to know you.
