My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valiant is a 3 year old Labrador Retriever/Catahoula mix. He is the perfect size and weighs 52 pounds. Valiant has had a tough life. He came into rescue as a stray. He was found with a collar embedded into his neck, emaciated, sick and very scared. We named him Valiant because he has overcome so much in life. Valiant is completely healthy now and his neck has healed beautifully! Despite his trials, Valiant has a gigantic heart full of love that he shares freely with his people! He is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his care taker. Valiant wears a wide smile these days! He has learned to let go of his fears and is beginning to understand that life isn’t so bad after all. Valiant loves a game of fetch. He will chase the ball as long as you’re willing to throw it! You will have to quit first with this boy! Valiant is a water rat and loves cooling off while being sprayed with the water hose! He loves toys too and will gladly entertain himself with a tennis ball or squeaky toy! Valiant is such a good boy! He walks nicely on the leash and enjoys going for walks! He would be a perfect walking/running buddy! Valiant will sit when asked even without treats! He is current on all vaccinations, has been neutered and also has a microchip.
