My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lee-Lou...she is just about the sweetest cat ever! She loves attention, purrs and even hungs your neck when you pick her up. Why this darling cat was turned into a high kill shelter, we don't know. But it was love at first sight and we just had to save her. She has a beautiful long coat and the most precious face! Lee-Lou has been Vet. Checked, Spayed, Fully Vaccinated, Combo-tested Negative for HW/FeLV/FIV, dewormed & flea treated. She does okay around other cats but has not had much exposure to dogs and is now ready for her forever home.

Our rescue cats are tested for Heartworm, Feline leukemia and FIV, Vet. checked, spayed/neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations and receive flea & worm treatment. They are also bathed, groomed & get a nail trim. The adoption fee for Lee-Lou is $60 and helps defray these expenses.

A Home for Cats is proud to be a no-kill rescue. Once a cat comes into our care, it stays with us until adopted, no matter how long that takes. Of course, when you adopt one of our cats, it makes it possible for us to rescue another one.

Our cats are fed Iams brand cat foods thanks to the "Iams Home 4 the Holidays" Bags 4 Bowls program. When you purchase Iams brand pet foods, they in turn donate much needed food to participating Animal Rescues and Shelters!.
