found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.
Binky is five years old and weighs seven pounds. Yes, the tongue is always out. God gave her enough tongue for a ten pound dog and she will lick you to up one side and down the other. The phrase "Dog can't hold her licker" applies perfectly to Binky. People who don't like puppy kisses need not apply.
Binky is a cuddler. She loves to be held. She is a Velcro dog and doesn't mind being the only dog in the family, although she does love to be around other dogs. Since she came from a puppy mill, she really doesn't know how to play, but she tries with the small ones. She likes to sit on the big ones, especially if you have tile floors. The big dogs don't seem to mind. It's just a Binky quirk.
Another Binky quirk is that she can only have one human in the home. She attaches to one person very strongly and will bark at anyone else who is living there. Not the visitors, just the people who live there. So that means no kids. And Binky hates cats. I think that about covers it.
Now for the particulars. Binky is house-trained for the most part, as long as you take her out every three hours. A fenced yard is a must and she will not go out unless you are in the yard with her. She has no idea what a "walk" is, because she likes to meander around and take her time. Since she will be your shadow, she will learn to walk on a leash just fine. But she will object to staying on a sidewalk when all the smells are in the grass along the way.
She is crate trained, but needs a wire crate, not a plastic kennel, to be happy. She will want to sleep with you. She is up to date on all of her vaccinations, is spayed, heartworm negative, and is micro-chipped.
Binky is located in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Please keep in mind that we prefer to place Binky within driving distance of where she is being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get Binky, and she must fly home in the cabin with her new family. Under no circumstances can she ever be shipped in cargo.
