Rocky's Story...
Hello, I'm Rocky!! I was saved from a very high kill shelter just days from my death!! Thanks so much to my foster mommy, I have a second chance on life and to be your new best friend. I am very sweet and just love to be cuddled. I love to go outside and like to investigate. I am interested in cats, but I don not bother them (not a likely trait in most Jacks). I am very patient and kind with my fellow K-9 friends, I live with 5 small puppies that like to jump and tug on me. I am house broken and would love to be your new doggie!! If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mommy, Lena Keller at dndkeller18@earthlink.net or give her a call 336-465-1898. Thanks, The Rockster

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Thomasville Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Thomasville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Thomasville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thomasville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thomasville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thomasville paves the way for another one to be saved.
