Hamlet's Story...
Hi Everyone,

My name is Hamlet and I am a Newfie/Labrador Mix who is approximately 10 months old. I am a super sweet gentle giant who would love to be part of a loving family.

I am good with children and other dogs but keep in mind that I am a big boy and my tail sometimes gets in the way.

I am very playful and love to be with my people.

I will come with the works (neutered/spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped, fecal, heart worm tested if age appropriate, flea and tick prevented, dental if needed, a free vet visit and medical insurance. What more could a new family ask for?

If you would like to add a big loving fluffy bear to your family please contact for an adoption application.

My Adoption Donation is $400.00

Thank you for considering me!

Love and sloppy kisses,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hamlet, a Oswego Newfoundland dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Newfoundland for sale in Oswego, or seeking a Newfoundland dog from a breeder in Oswego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oswego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oswego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Newfoundland breeders who help with Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oswego paves the way for another one to be saved.
