Ben's Story...
Meet Ben an adorable 9 month old red tri male (DOB 4/26/06). Ben's life started out pretty hectic of late. He'd been in three homes in 5 months. He's a sweet and playful boy but a little leary of people at first, especially men ( a few treats and he's fine). Ben needs some socialization and positive experiences with people. He loves other dogs and lives to play with them. This is an energetic boy who needs a home that can give him the exercise he needs, a fenced yard is a must. I believe Ben is going to be a big boy! He is crate trained and seems to be house trained. Ben loves to play ball and will do so all day long! Ben is fostered in Zephyrhills.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben, a Orlando Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
