Priest's Story...
Priest is a 3 year old Lab/Beagle mix who is already housebroken, good with kids and good with dogs. However, we are not sure about cats as his foster home has none. Priest is cuddly, loves to sleep in bed with you and is an all-around great dog. Everything we have observed about Priest is impressive. He is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves adventure and a good belly rub! He is a nice medium size dog who will have no trouble fitting in anywhere. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Priest, will no doubt find him to be a loving, devoted companion!

As HAHS now has several adoption locations, please contact Mark at 816.807.3211or markbopp-hahs@comcast.net so you can find out how to meet PRIEST!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Priest, a Overland Park Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
