Yugi's Story...
(D.O.B. 3-17-05) YUGI was rescued from Animal Control where he had been surrendered because his owner was admitted to a long term care facility. YUGI is a large build cat with a charming personality who may be a little shy when first introduced to strangers. Otherwise he is well behaved, very loving and adoring. He will politely tap you on your leg for permission to come up onto you lap. He will acknowledge your presence with a little trilling sound whenever you walk up to him or call his name. YUGI always seems to be purring. He sleeps at the foot of the bed and gets up to greet you when you wake. Yugi has many lovable quirks about him, he likes to be held a particular way, he likes to be kissed on his forehead and appreciates being spoken to in a gentle voice. He will tolerate other cats as long as they are not in his face but would be an ideal candidate for an only pet. He has been introduced to a dog in his foster home, he seems OK with the dog. YUGI is a little on the chubby side, so a home where he will have proper diet and exercise would be best. YUGI would love a quiet home of his own, preferably adult only. He is UTD on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Adoption fee is $175.00

About Our Rescue Group...
We are small but growing group of volunteers who simply love cats. We are not-for-profit organization who rely on public donations and support to continue to operate and save the lives of many innocent cats and kittens. The majority of our cats & kittens are rescued from Kill shelters who are rescue friendly and allow us to take these cats who are slated for euthanasia because of a lack of space in the shelter. Foster homes are our life blood, we need foster homes year round. Volunteers to help us with fundraising events, garage sales, adoption centres etc are always welcomed.

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption application can be downloaded and completed and emailed back to us at info@forgottenones.ca. Once reviewed and approved, and adoption rep will be in contact with you to go over some of the questions on the application and to perhaps arrange a meeting with some of the cats in our adoption facility. Standard adoption fee is $175.00 for adults, includes vet exam, spay/neuter, microchip, tested for Feleuk/FIV. Kitten adoption fee are $225.00.
