Beauty's Story...
Beauty is exactly what her name implies– a pretty kitty with a great personality to boot. Beauty's story started on the streets, where she became pregnant and found her way to a caring rescuer who took her in. Beauty was a momma to five of her own kittens, and when three more kittens appeared needing a mother, she accepted them and raised them as her own. All of Beauty's babies have been adopted, and now she is patiently awaiting her chance to live the life of a family housecat. Beauty is approximately two years old, but she plays like a kitten. Her favorite games involve running through her crinkly kitty tunnel (possibly one of the best inventions ever) and chasing after toy mice. Even better is when she can chase a toy mouse through the kitty tunnel!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beauty, a Tempe Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tempe, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tempe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tempe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tempe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tempe paves the way for another one to be saved.
