My name is Flash!

Greyhound Dog for adoption in Montgomery, Alabama - Flash

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Flash's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Flash's Story...
Flash is a young greyhound boy that we are guessing is approximately year and half old. He entered our program after he was discovered running loose. Flash has an old healed fracture to the hip due to being hit by a car. He does bare some weight on it while walking but holds it up when running. He is very happy to be in a home. He wags his tail constantly. We hope that you will find it in your heart to give this special boy a loving home. He would be best placed in a home without cats or small dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flash, a Montgomery Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Montgomery, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Montgomery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montgomery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montgomery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montgomery paves the way for another one to be saved.
